I like a lot what you say about the time audit both for the day to day and week to week, and as we look ahead. I have a decade on you and I'm only now starting to think.. hmmm.. how much longer do I want to be working at this "full time." And do I want to keep writing the same kind of books. Pretty sure the answer is... not exactly... after I finish the two I am contracted to. But what will that look like? I don't know. It's fun and scary and I'm glad to have your podcast and this to feel not so alone. But speaking of not so alone, I have at least half a dozen writer friends who are thinking along the same lines. So that is interesting...

It is! I think a lot of us are weighing out the mental, emotional, and time cost/benefit of it all.
